An all-in-one laserjet printer is basically a laserjet printer with additional functions of scanning, copying and fax. What is the difference between a laserjet printer and other printers?
An all in one laserjet printer is a special kind of printer that is able to transfer words or images on paper by using a beam of light. Unlike an inkjet printer which uses a liquid ink cartridge, a laserjet printer uses a focused beam of light in order to print stuff on a page.
Laserjet printers utilize a light emitting diode (LED) in order to be able to print on a page. Simply put LEDs are rays of light that print images or words on paper one dot at a time. The LED is emitted from a laser assembly which moves horizontally as it prints. A toner then provides the “ink” for laser printers. Unlike liquid ink, a toner is made up of pigment and plastic. Pigment provides the color while the plastic makes it easier for the toner “ink” to bind or fuse into paper. Laserjet printers are an excellent choice for print jobs that need to last for a long time. Scanning or copying in an all in one printer also utilizes the same light-emitting printing process.
