Canon CanoScan LiDE 210 - flatbed scanner

Haven't had this long nor have I used it much. But I've tried several things and am getting the hang of it. The scanning of color photos is good. I think I will be happy over the long run.

Document scanners are used for scanning text and images printed on paper and other types of print media. Many of these scanners take the form of flatbed scanners and desktop scanners. Flatbed scanners have flat glass panes on which individual sheets of material can be placed, facedown, for scanning. Desktop scanners, on the other hand, are often sheet-fed devices. Many professionals use these scanners can be used to make digital copies of important documents and photos.

Slide scanners and graphics scanners are ideal for scanning photos because these scanners are capable of retaining a photo's original colors in its digital copy. These scanners are useful for organizations and institutions that regularly archive digital copies of photos for inventory purposes or for future use.

Retail businesses find convenience in barcode scanners or barcode readers. These devices feed product information into a computer system by reading the barcodes printed on scanned products. Barcode scanners streamline the checkout process and the inventory of products or services.
